Position size is the margin you post times the leverage. Liquidation is estimated from the entry price and the move that would consume the margin, using the long or short direction selected on the form. A fee, where the form has one, reduces the cushion. It is not an exchange’s liquidation engine.
$1,000 of margin at 10x controls a $10,000 position. A move against the position of about 10%, before fees, consumes that margin. The form’s exact liquidation price depends on the direction and the fee you entered.
Funding rates, maintenance margin tiers, and an exchange’s insurance fund are not included. The figure is not a quote from an exchange and it is not a recommendation to use leverage.
